Pencil art
 
Image size is about 5" x 7" on 6" x 9" tracing paper. Scan shows entire paper.

The main pencil lines have been traced over in ballpoint pen, when the artist transferred the image to bristol board for painting.

Each of these original pencil drawings and acrylic color roughs were done by John Pound prior to painting the finished GARBAGE PAIL KIDS art. (The finished GPK art is not available.) They are one of a kind, subject to availability, and signed by the artist. Includes Certificate of Authenticity.

Color rough

Image size is about 5"x7" on 8.5"x11" paper. Scan shows closeup of main art area.

Painted in acrylics on a copy of the pencil art. There is some puckering of the paper. There are 3 holes on one edge of page (on color roughs from Series 1 to 15). Image may be off center.

Series ONE and TWO (1985)

Series THREE to FIVE (1986)

Rough is painted on tracing paper glued onto plain paper. The plain paper (outside scanned area) is quite puckered on top, bottom, and right margins. It is also puckered on the back, behind the art, although the tracing paper itself is tight, and hardly puckered at all, except near edges.
Also has a couple small brown smears in lower right and bottom margins, outside scanned area.
